Canvas polishing pad

SKU: CK-CAN

$12

CabKing canvas polishing pads are used for polishing stone, glass and synthetic material. They screw into the right shaft of the CabKing cabbing machines and can be used on other cabbing machine brands.

Our canvas polishing pads are excellent pads for putting a final polish on stone, glass and synthetic material. These pads are untreated and made with a canvas material. They need to be pre-charged with diamond pastediamond powder or cerium oxide before use.

Canvas polishing pads come with a 1/4"-20 thread on the backside. They screw into the right shaft of the CabKing 6" cabbing machine and the CabKing 8" cabbing machine. You can also use them on other cabbing machine brands that accept a 1/4"-20 thread.

Important note: Only use one mesh per canvas polishing pad. Do not mix different mesh on the same canvas polishing pad. If you plan on using more than one mesh to polish a variety of different material, we suggest ordering more than one canvas polishing pad.

Canvas polishing pad review

I purchased the pad to use sapphire powder with on a turquoise cab. I was not able to achieve a higher polish with the sapphire powder than I got with cerium oxide. I am interested in finding some elk hide to try the sapphire powder now.

Polishing pads

I purchased 3 of the polishing pads and the diamond paste in 14,000, 50,000, and 100,000. This was the first time I have used diamond paste and I can’t even describe the shine I get on my cabochons now!! I’m so glad I bought them!!!

Canvas polishing pad

An excellent addition to the Cabking when used with Cerium Oxide or Diamond paste.
I just finished polishing a few Bisbee cabs with it and it gave a great finish.

Great system for polishing

It pays to keep seversl polishing pads on hand that way you can experiment with different diamond grits: 14,000, 50,000, 100,000 and have disks for cerium oxide etc. they change out in seconds and have proven to be quite durable
