Our CabKing trim saw attachment 6" turns the CabKing 6" cabbing machine into a trim saw, making it a complete all-in-one unit so you can cut, grind and polish on just one machine. This saw attachment fits onto the right shaft of the CabKing 6" cabbing machine. It comes with written and visual instructions for easy use and installation. Included with this trim saw attachment is an 8" diameter X .031" thick sintered saw blade with a 1" arbor hole, so you can start cutting right out of the box.

Maximum cutting height and depth for the 6" and 8" trim saw attachment is 2.5" deep, 2.5" high with the mini platform, and 3.75" high with the mini platform removed.

IMPORTANT PURCHASING NOTES: THIS IS THE TRIM SAW ATTACHMENT ONLY, you must own the CabKing 6" cabbing machine in order to use this attachment. The trim saw attachment only accepts saw blades with 1″ arbor holes and is compatible with the CabKing-6V3 110 volt and 220 volt models ONLY.

We did not purchase the machine for our use. The purchase was for a customer that wanted to get started in lapidary, but didn’t know who to go to for starter information.

Great blade and concept

I love my 6" CabKing grinder. It is a work horse and very versatile. I decided I wanted a better trim saw than the tile saw I was using. I ordered this and it arrived quickly and securely. The directions are good and easy to understand. I also watched the recommended videos as well. After assembling everything and getting it set up a was very disappointed upon start up. I was drenched with a shower of water. I shut the unit down (but the run down on these machines is about a minute) and was treated to a shower while it ran down. I tried several times to adjust the blade guard but no matter what I tried I got a shower. The pieces really don't fit together tight and the overall design lacks a good solid platform to work from. I got creative with some plastic sheeting and made several splash guards to contain about 98% of the splashing, but for the money I really should not have had to become a design engineer. I will say that the blade is amazing and cuts very clean. The overall concept is great as well and I will be working on a better water containment system. This is cheaper than a true trim saw (especially with an eight inch blade!) but it is not without it's flaws.

In regards to the spray, we suggest checking two things, as you should not be taking a shower every time you use this saw attachment. First, make sure that the drain hole plug is installed and secured. Second, only fill the water reservoir with water to cover just 1/8' of the blade. If you put too much water in the water reservoir, you will get soaked. Cab King 6 with trim saw

I’m a novice but so far love the machine. Have cut several pieces with the trim saw and will begin using the polishing wheels tomorrow.
